The CPA’s Fall meeting on November 28 was a success.  Bracha Stettin, the guest speaker, talked about Cabbagetown’s environmental past. Steve Yeates, the CPA Chair, said, “Her lively, illustrated talk kept the full room engaged and sparked a barrage of comments and questions afterward.”   The 2024 Recognition Award went to Gale Moore, the past Chair of the CPA, for her outstanding work for the group. The  Peggy Kurtin Restoration Award was given to L’Avenue (583 Parliament) for their work on the former Barr’s Dairy building.  A watercolour painting of the building done by Rosie Shepherd was presented to the owners.  The CPA’s Fall 2024 Newsletter is now available online.
